About kumkumadi tailam
Kumkumadi tailam, also known as kumkumadi oil or kumkumadi face oil, is an Ayurvedic-style face oil named after kumkuma, the Sanskrit word for saffron. Ours is an Ayurvedic face oil made slowly: sesame and sweet almond oils infused with saffron, manjistha, sandalwood and more.
The infusion rests in a silver vessel for twenty-one days before it is bottled in small batches. It is made in India, in small batches.
Use it as the last step of your night skincare routine: two to four drops, pressed over a cleansed face and neck. It suits a simple routine, whether your skin runs dry or oily (see the notes below).

How to use
A four-step ritual, made simple enough to keep.
- PrepCleanse and pat dry, leaving skin slightly damp.
- Dispense2–4 drops into palms; rub between fingers to warm the oil.
- ApplyPress and pat over face and neck; no harsh rubbing.
- AbsorbMassage upward in slow circles until absorbed.
A couple of notes
- Morning use must be followed by sunscreen.
- Oily skin dilutes with a few drops of water.
